Our beloved Annual Membership Showcase is back this year Sunday November 23rd 2025 at the Seven Oaks Performing Arts Centre - 711 Jefferson Ave.

WORKSHOP & CLASS
With Sam Hutchings
November 21st @ Drop In Dance - 1381 Portage Avenue
CLASS 5:30 - 6:45 This class will have a more “drop-in” feel; warm up and then some fun Theatre Jazz choreography!
WORKSHOP 7 - 9:30 In this workshop, you will be learning & staging a piece of choreography that will be performed as the finale to the Showcase on November 23rd. Participants MUST be available all day on the 23rd, as there is a possibility of two performances.
Workshop & Class = $35
Class ONLY = $20 ($10 for Youth & Individual Members)
**Must be 12+, but PLEASE contact us if a younger dancer is interested :)
SHOES: Please wear Jazz shoes, ballet slippers or socks

Born in Winnipeg, Sam began her dance training at the age of three and began acting and training in musical theatre at the age of nine. She has trained with notable teachers including Brenda Gorlick, Paula Potosky and Donna Fletcher, among others, and has studied musical theatre, jazz, contemporary, ballet, tap, and stage combat.
Sam has trained at The University of Winnipeg, The Village Conservatory, Studioworks, and Kids Etc. and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Film. She is grateful to be the recipient of several Jean Murray-Moray Sinclair Scholarships and Apprenticeships with the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, as well as the Rainbow Stage Student Scholarship.
Throughout her career, Sam notable professional theatre experience includes The Sound of Music at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Disney’s The Little Mermaid at Rainbow Stage, and The Wizard of Oz at Rainbow Stage, among many others.
She is most inspired by witnessing young people discover the immense joy of expressing themselves through song, dance, and the craft of acting
